Hoy, mis amigos y yo discutimos para el proyecto de video. Nosotros decidimos que nos video es sobre ensenar el tema. Tambien, mi grupo termina el story board para la clase manana.

Poetry Slam Reflection

Overall, I really enjoyed the poetry slam. I was a bit nervous before reading my poem because I thought it was lame, but when everyone laughed at the end it did make me feel better! Also, I really loved hearing everyone else's poems and their styles in writing. In addition, during this poetry unit I acquired a lot of knowledge about the different forms of poetry and am definitely going to use this for the future!

The sun shined at the start of a new day It was so bright that it blinded me I got up from my bed And tripped on my bedstand Whack! There was a bump on my head

Today working with the kids who have mental disabilities was an amazing experience. It was so fun to communicate with them and see their face light up! I really enjoyed helping them out because they were so kind and sweet to talk to and seeing them happy made me happy (:

Blog Post #6

My New Year's resolution this year to not procrastinate and always be ahead. I usually tend to stick to my new year's resolutions most of the time so I'm hoping this will work out also. Typically, when there is an upcoming test or assignment on a certain day, I wait for the day before it to study. This usually causes a lot of stress and I do not want that to happen this year as this year will be even busier. I hope to organize the work I have better and to manage my time wisely. This way, I plan to reduce the amount of stress I had in the year before and be on time!
